Free Breakfast and Intro to Rowing
Frisco, CO | Saturday July 7

Visit the Frisco Rowing Center at the Frisco Bay Marina from 8:00am-10:00am to learn about rowing on Dillon Reservoir. The Center is offering a free breakfast and an introductory rowing lesson on land followed by a few strokes on the oars in the water. There will also be Frisco Rowing Center members on hand to talk about lessons and membership in a relaxed setting.

Copper Mountain Music Festival

Nothing quite compares to a music festival with friends and family in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. From July 7 – 8, the 4th annual Copper Mountain Music Fest features bluegrass and Americana artists from around the country. With giveaways from Elevation Outdoors, fireworks on Saturday evening, and kids craft stations, the Copper Mountain Music Festival has plenty for the whole family. The 2018 lineup includes Langhorne Slim & the Law, Tim O'Brien with Jan Fabricius, Jerry Douglas, John Fullbright, Aaron Burdett Acoustic Trio, Gasoline Lollipops, Black Lillies, Timber, Umberto Fonte, Randall McKinnon and Andy May.

Silverton Challenge
Silverton, CO | July 7-12

Join us for 1, 2, 3 or 5 days of training (6-hour and 12-hour options available also) on the 1-mile hand-build trail loop at Kendall Mountain Recreation Area. The loop gains and descends ~250 feet over the course of the mile and is a perfect way to get the lungs burning, the quads screaming and build fitness for a summer event.

Yampa River Clean Up
Steamboat, Yampa River State Park, Craig, CO | Saturday July 7

This event is an annual “river-wide” clean up that engages volunteers to give back to the Yampa River and to remind us all to respect the Yampa by keeping it clean and trash free. There will be 3 locations for participants to volunteer this year, one in Steamboat Springs, one at the Yampa River State Park near Hayden and one in Craig, Colorado.
