The Colorado Film Institute’s mission is to foster independent film through film screenings, panels, workshops, networking events, and educational projects. The Colorado Film Institute stages the Vail Film Festival on an annual basis in Vail, Colorado as the primary outlet for the Institute’s initiatives.

As a service to our members and guests, the 10th Mountain Division Hut Association has partnered with the University of Colorado School of Medicine’s Wilderness & Environmental Medicine program to offer a tailor-made course in backcountry first aid, specific to the high altitude winter environment of Colorado.
